Sorry it took me so long to post this. I've had so much to do. Anyway, no Jared or Misha, but for what it's worth....

Friday

Robin ([info]lovetheguys ) and I ended up getting to the airport a little late thanks to an accident on the highway. I had to check 1 bag and they said it'd be late and might end up on a later flight. So of course I'm all worried because who knows when "later" is going to be, and if they'd lose my bag. Luckily it ended up on the same flight. We made it to sunny Orlando and met our friends at the airport.

Florida, here we are!!

Heh... sorry, I hadn't been there in years. It was great to go back. We got there around 10:15am and didn't have to collect our badges and etc for the con until 4pm so we had a lot of time to kill. Had lunch in the mall food court, then went back to the hotel and found a few friends. Got our badges and other tickets and checked out the dealers' tables.

That night Alisa (my roomie) and I attended the cocktail party. We saw Gabe Tigerman, Julie McNiven, Chad Lindberg, and Jason Manns there (Jim Beaver was supposed to be there, but I think his flight got in quite late). Alisa and I talked to Jason for a little bit. It was cool hanging out with the guests. I overheard Julie talking about some other shows like Prison Break, and about Kim Manners (she mentioned he didn't look good the last time she saw him :(). She also said something about her scene with Jensen in (highlight for spoilers) heaven and Hell. That he has such a big back. *g*

We didn't attend the Fall of Envy concert, mostly because we were just so tired from being up so early. I'd heard they were good, though.

Saturday

We drove to IHOP for breakfast. Which is where we had breakfast every morning. Heh.. The con opened at 10am every morning. We were in the dealers' room when a guy at a vendor table told us "did you hear that the angel guy had to cancel?" We were like, "what???" He said it again and then told us we didn't hear it from him. We didn't know what to think but hoped it was a rumor. Right before Jim's Q&A, Dizzy (the con emcee) announced that Misha did have to cancel because of filming. They'd given him an ultimatum that he had to be there, or else they'd shut production down for a week. Dizzy mentioned they'd try to set up a conference call with him on Sunday, with a video link or something so we could still get to talk to him (that never happened, though).

Jim really tried to make up for it, though, and I think he did an awesome job. Here's his Q&A (cut for space):

Jim Beaver Q&A )

Julie McNiven came after Jim. Let me say that whatever your opinion of Anna may be, Julie is a sweetheart and it was a pleasure seeing her.

Julie McNiven Q&A )

After Julie's panel I went to get an autograph from Jim (I'd exchanged my Misha autograph ticket for one with Jim). He asked how I was doing and if I was having fun. I told him I was and that this was my first EyeCon. He told me that he loves EyeCon, it's the type of con he prefers doing and he said everyone involved was doing a great job. I gave him my pic of Bobby for him to sign. He looked at it and said "Hey, I know this guy. I think it's my grandfather." *g*

At one point I was out in the mezzanine (outside the main con room) when two young girls about 7 or 8 years old came racing around, and Gabe was racing with him. It was so cute. :)

Jason Manns had his Q&A after Julie.

Jason's Q&A )

After Jason came Gabe's Q&A. I swear, this guy is so freaking adorable! I just can't say how adorable he is!!

Gabe's Q&A )

That night was the banquet. Alisa and I were going to sit with Jason but he didn't show up. Then a con lady told us that he couldn't come because something came up.  But we found out later that Jason wasn't there because he didn't know he was supposed to attend. Because they didn't tell him about it - they'd only told him he was supposed to do a Q&A and a concert. *facepalm* Alisa was upset and just up and left. I stayed and ate dinner (which to be honest wasn't that good) and talked with the other people at our table.  On the way back to my room I passed Gabe and he gave me a little " Hi." I think he was in a hurry to get back to the banquet.  That night Jason's concert ended around midnight and we went back up to our room.

Sunday

We didn't really do much.  Like I said earlier, Jim did another Q&A but we didn't know exactly when it was taking place. Robin, Amy (our other friend), and I ended up relaxing outside by the pool for a while.  At one point we saw Gabe racing the two little girls through the mezzanine again, and he even went after them with silly string!! LOL. He was spraying them with it and got some on the floor. Robin scolded him with "look at that mess!" and he told her "I don't know who did that." *g*

At one point I bumped into my friend Vani ("Ceriniel" on supernatural.tv).  We got a drink at the bar in the hotel restaurant and noticed Gabe, Julie and Jason sitting there eating lunch. We didn't want to bother them, so we had our drinks and waited a little while. Then we workedu p the nerve to go over and talk to them. We asked how they were doing and they said good, and Gabe said something like, "well, I'm still dead, but..." *g*  Vani had her camera and asked them if we could get a pic taken with them.  They agreed, so I took one of Vani with them and she took one of me.  And here it is (bah, don't mind how bad I look, focus on the lovely people surrounding me... lol):

Chad Lindberg had his Q&A later in the day, but we missed it.  Although something interesting happened, and my roomie relayed it to me:

Chad's Q&A )

That night we decided to go to Outback for our last dinner together in Orlando.  And that pretty much closed out the weekend.

Like I said, we were really disappointed about the fact that Jared and Misha had to cancel but we still tried to have fun.  I think we did. It was great hanging out with my fellow fans, and the other guests were great too.  I'm hoping that if they do another EyeCon they will be able to get Jared.  That's all I'll say about it, I want to think positive.

I hope everyone who is going to LA has a great time this weekend. :)

Oops, almost forgot, here is a link to all my pics. If you want to take any of these to use for anything, that's fine. Just please let me know you're taking them and credit me. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

First, I got the Supernatural Season 3 Companion in the mail today. Wow... ordered it from Amazon only 2 days ago... that was fast.

I'm so happy for my friends in Europe and the UK who are going to Asylum!! How exciting... both boys and Misha! I hope you have a blast. :)

Found out that most if not all of the guests (except Jared) are going to be at EyeCon Fri and Sat, especially for the cocktail party. I can't wait, it's going to be awesome. Only one week to go!  To anyone who's been there before, I noticed that they have an auction for seats on these big comfy couches up front, as well as a private autograph session (which is with Misha this time).  Where are those couches located? Are they in front of Row A or are they off to the side a ways? Just curious and hoping I won't have a lot of heads blocking my view during the Q&A panels. *g*

Finally I know that many people have already made art based on that Jared photoshoot, but I made some icons that I'd like to offer up as well.  There are 16 icons. If you'd like to take any of them, comments and credit are appreciated. :) Most of them are textless and you can use them for bases if you like, but I'd like credit for the bases.  Hope you like!

Finally home from this con, have finally edited and uploaded my pics, and I am EXHAUSTED!! Comic Con was really crazy.  So many people there and IMHO things weren't organized too well.  We sadly didn't make it to the Friday the 13th screening :(  But in all honesty I was at the point where I just wanted to collapse.  I knew I wouldn't make it there. *sigh* Oh, well.  Here is my report and pics ...

Beware of squee'age )

Woo... so much hotness in one day. *g* Even with all the grief we went through, I was still glad I went.  And now I'm heading to bed.  I'm just beyond exhausted now :P

Night, everyone!

As if I didn't have enough of them... *g*

The pics I posted some time ago are ones I uploaded to my flickr account.  Which are all well and good, but I was in a hurry to upload and share them all.  And I wanted smaller ones up on that site in case some kind-hearted souls decided to steal them ... NOT anyone I know here on LJ or any of the SPN sites, but just anyone crusing along on flickr or surfing the internet who happened to find them.

After going through all my raw pic files, I found I could save them as larger sizes and the quality isn't half bad! *shock* LOL, see I'm really not experienced much when it comes to taking photos.

So, I've gone and edited the original files again and saved them all in my LJ scrapbook.  The album is called "Day 3 HQ", and while they're not necessarily "HQ", they are higher quality than those I posted on flickr.  They're from the breakfast, Jared and J2 panels (I already had some higher quality Jensen panel pics).  The breakfast ones still aren't that great, again because of the crappy lighting and the fact that my hands were shaking a lot - AND I didn't have a tripod with me.  But still if you like any of them and want to take, please go ahead.  Just credit me.

There's 153 of them.  Find them here: Higher Quality Pics

Hope you like. :)

Oh, and [info]angels_cordy , I got your Christmas card yesterday! Thanks so much, hon!! And there will be more Puppy Picspams to come in the New Year *g*

Sorry I'm spamming so much today, lol

Here is the last part of my SPN con report.  This covers the photo op and autograph sessions on Sunday with Jared and Jensen. WARNING: some potentially annoying fangirling ahead.  Non SPN fans might want to turn back. *g*

The Jared photo ops were held right after the breakfast, so everyone had to race into the main theater room (they were first come first served, and they would call you by rows).  I was pretty much near the front of the line.  As I finally got into the photo op room, I saw Jared sitting on a stool for the photos and he was wearing a hat (the one he wore during the Q&A panels)... *sigh* I seriously almost asked him to remove it, but I just couldn't. Heh.  Anyway, when they were ready for me, Jared pretty much gave me a "Hi!" He had his arms out like he was ready to put them around me.  I asked him, "can I have a hug?"  He said, "A hug? Oh, sure!" and pulled me into a hug.  I can't even begin to describe how it felt being cuddled up to him.  And he smelled so good!! After the pic was taken, I gave him a little "thank you."  He seemed almost surprised that I thanked him.  He nodded, kind of widened his eyes and said, "of course!" He looked so much like a puppy, I almost had to bite my tongue to keep from calling him "puppy." LOL.

People were lining up for the J2 sandwich photo ops already when I got back.  And shortly thereafter they lined people up for the Jensen photo ops.  Again I was near the front of that line.  When it was my turn, Jensen was sitting on a stool like Jared.  He looked at me with this sort of grin and gave me a big "Heeeey!" in that lovely voice of his.  I kind of blurted out "hi!" He asked how I was doing and I told him "I'm doing good." That was all I could say because they went through them pretty quick and I really couldn't think of anything else to say. *g*  I didn't get too close to him, but I did put my hand up on his back.  After the pic was taken I thanked him as I did Jared, and he kind of shyly nodded and smiled.  (why didn't I get to close to him, you might ask? Well, here is why... )

After the panels ended, they quickly started the autograph session and moved people through pretty quickly, telling us the boys had a flight to catch back to Vancouver for filming.  Unlike the guests from Fri and Sat, they couldn't personalize, just sign their names.  Being in Row A I got up there pretty quick.  I really wanted to thank both of them so much for doing this show, that I really enjoy it and I've met so many nice people thanks to it... my 62 year old mom and I watch it together, it's "our time" we share, bla bla blah. But I decided to keep it short since Creation kept stressing they were in a hurry.  Jensen was given my photo and after he gave it back to me I said to him "thank you so much for coming." He was already signing the next person's photo so he wasn't looking at me, but he said "oh, thank YOU for coming."  He did that eyebrow thing that makes me weak... you know, where his forehead gets wrinkly and his eyebrows arch upward? I have a weird obsession with it, which will most likely come out when I start my Dean picspams. *g*

Recovering quickly from the eyebrow thingie (LOL), they gave Jared my Sam photo and as soon as he said it he went, "oh, awesome." Heh... it was the smiley Sam one from Playthings.  After he signed it, he gave it back to me and looked up at me, smiling.  I told him the same as I told Jensen, and he said (still looking at me)  "oh, no, thank YOU for coming."  I blurted out "I'm happy..." and I'm sure I looked like a loon standing there, so I quickly added "... to be here."  He nodded and said, "awesome."  Hee! My legs felt like they were made of jelly.  It was such a cool experience!

And some sillier con ramblings )

So here are the autographs and photo ops.  Warning, I look bad.  Particularly bad in the Jensen one.  I swear I'm grinning like a loon.  I really don't look this bad in real life. Really.  I guess I just don't photograph too well sometimes.  Plus my hair looked like crp.  I had over blowdried it and it ended up looking really flat and straight (my hair is in reality on the wavy side).  Look at your own risk... or just ignore me and concentrate on Jensen, lol.

As if I haven't posted on LJ enough today... *g*

So, here is Part 6, finally.  This covers all of Saturday.

Saturday morning was a very interesting one in our hotel room.  The night before I'd taken a quick shower and when I got out, I noticed a bit of water on the floor at the back of the bathtub.  I'd had the curtain across, so it was looking to me like the tub leaking.  I warned my roomies.  Next morning, I took another shower, but when I got out I noticed the WHOLE FLOOR WAS FLOODED.  And there was water seeping underneath the door.  My slippers got wet and I had to dry them off with the hairdryer. :P  We put in a call to the front desk.  Later they had a couple of guys come up and look at it.  They were apparently convinced at first that it was the toilet that was leaking.  But they ran the water in the tub and realized it was the source of the leak.  They caulked it and luckily we had no more problems after that.  But, eek.

Anyway, Samantha Smith was the first guest.  I think this was her first con, or first Creation con, at least.

Samantha's panel... cut for length )

After Samantha's panel came Jason Manns'.  cut for length )

Charles Malik Whitfield (Agent Henriksen) was next.  Unfortunately I missed the very beginning when he first came out. I'd gone back to our hotel room to get something to eat since I didn't think I'd have enough time to grab lunch near the hotel.  I found [info]hesaysokiedokie  and we chatted for a while. :) We went back down and I thought we had a few minutes before Charlie's Q&A started, but apparently not.  Luckily I only missed the very beginning.

Next up was Chad Lindberg (Ash).  They brought his nephew onto the stage, and Chad put one of those mullet hats on him to make him a Mini Ash. *g*  It was adorable. :)

After Chad's talk was the autograph session with him, Samantha, Jason and Charlie.  autographs, concert and dessert party behind here  )

So that's about it for Saturday.  Here are pictures.  Again these are previews (except the autographs).  You can find more of them here:

So, I've finally got all my pics edited and uploaded, so I can *finally* start from the beginning.

Robin ([info]lovetheguys ) and I were flying out of JFK airport Friday morning.  Our flight was supposed to leave around 7:25am.  We hear an announcement that the flight was overbooked and if anyone would be so kind as to give up their seats, if their travel plans are flexible.  No way in hell either of us were volunteering! I guess there were other people who gave up their seats, or they got bumped up to first class or something, because all went well.

Our flight ended up leaving a bit later, maybe close to 8am.  I don't remember why, but our steward was very aware that people weren't happy about it and seemed to go the extra mile to make sure we were all happy and comfortable on the flight.  It ended up being shorter than usual, so we still got into Chicago around the time we were originally supposed to.  We met Alisa at the airport and the three of us took a shuttle to the hotel.

After checking into our room (with which we had some lovely problems... a bit more on that later), we went to pre-registration.  Since I had the Gold pass, they gave me a free gift. It turned out to be a Supernatural shot glass, which was pretty nice.  They also had said something about having something special for Gold patrons that had to do with Friday the 13th.  It ended up being a movie poster.  The one with Jason's mask on it.  No Jared.  *snort*

We checked out the vendors tables and I bought The Christmas Cottage DVD, a few photos for Gabe, Chad, Samantha, Charles Malik Whitfield (or "Malik" as a bunch of us were referring to him), Richard and Jason Manns to sign, three small buttons featuring Jared and Jensen, and a black t-shirt with Sam and Dean on it (I had brought one with me, but I wanted another to wear that weekend).

They kicked everything off around noon or 12:30 with a music video.  Most of the vids they showed at this con were quite good.  Off the top of my head there was a funny one mostly about Dean to the "I'm Not Dead Yet" song from Spamalot, there was a very lovely one made by [info]kj_svala that won an award (congrats again, hon! *hugs*), and there was a Dean-centric one to the song "Bitch."

Anyway, first up was Gabe Tigerman.  He was asked about any other projects he'd been working on recently.  He mentioned that he cowrote a movie, I think.  He talked about recently getting married as well.

Someone told him that he was not the only one to wrestle the Impala away from Dean... season 4 spoilers )
He talked about Andy's death and what Kripke said to him about it.  He of course wasn't happy about it.

Someone asked him about any pranks that were played on the set.  He said he saw some little pranks going on.  He would hear Jensen yell, "God Dammit!" and know that Jared had done something to him, LOL.

He was asked about any influences or favorite actors.  He said he liked Steve Martin growing up and also liked Monty Python.

He was asked about his opinion of season 4.  He said he hasn't watched it.  He mentioned he'd like to see episodes with Jensen and Jared opening an ice cream parlor, joining the circus, having different odd jobs. Heh.

Someone asked him what was his favorite episode that has aired.  His answer was "mine." *g*  He got in quite a few digs at Kripke, especially for killing Andy off.  He talked about having Time Warner cable and how he had trouble with it, that it was taken away from him.  He told us "Kripke is a lot like Time Warner. He takes a lot away from me." LOL

He was asked what his favorite scenes in the show were.  He mentioned the scene in Simon Said when Dean couldn't stop telling the truth (to Andy about why they were following him), and then the scene where he took the Impala from Dean. He said that was the first thing they shot.

He was asked if there were any stories involving him with Jared's dogs.  He said that once they got his coffee and drank it on the way to the set.  He said that they're a little too friendly. *g*

He talked about the scene where Andy died in AHBL Part 1, and said his mom cried when he showed it to her. Aww.

Someone asked him if he had any fears.  He said he had a fear of spiders and sharks.  Then he was asked that, if he was stranded on a desert island with a SPN character, who would it be? He replied, "according to fanfic, Chad [Ash] and I could hang out."  *g* He added that Ash is the most amusing and would probably be fun.

That's about all I remember from his panel.  He was so funny and adorable. :)

Next was Steve Carlson's panel.  I really don't remember much of what he talked about.  He talked mostly about his music, I think.  He was asked what his favorite actor was and he said it was Robert Downey, Jr.  He was supposed to be performing that night, but it wasn't going to be his band, just him.  I do remember that he said he didn't like to smile much in pictures because he has "fangs" for teeth. Heh.  You be the judge in the pics I took.

After Steve was Richard Speight, Jr. aka The Trickster.  I think this was his very first con appearance and he really seemed to be enjoying it.  He said he was very thankful to the fans.  People were asking him about some of his other acting credits.  Someone asked how it was working on Demonic Toys.  He said he looked pretty nerdy in that movie, he made Screech look cool.  He had also worked with Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to Camp.  He talked a little about Jim Varney and said he was an "interesting dude."

Someone asked him what it was like in Tall Tales when he sat there and watched Jensen get tossed around in the end scene.  He said he pretty much did his own stuff.  His job was just to clap while all that was going on, and that was all he wanted to do, but then he also had to sit there and eat candy bars.

He was also asked if he would be back on the show.  He said he didn't know, and would probably know that a few weeks before we do.  He said they don't tell him anything, but they did leave the door open in Mystery Spot for him to come back.

Someone asked him what his favorite prank played by the Trickster in Tall Tales was.  He said it was the frat guy getting probed over and over by the aliens, and fortunately they didn't shoot that scene to show us.

He had also appeared in Jericho and said he had a great time doing it.  He talked about some of the pranks that were played on that show.  He also talked about Band of Brothers and what it was like filming it.

Back to SPN, he was asked what was the most difficult scene to film.  He said it was the scene in Mystery Spot where he confronts Sam (after the three months since he lost Dean had gone by).  It was a "I'm messing with you, but I'm not kidding around" sort of thing.  Speaking of that ep, he was asked what his favorite Dean death was.  He said it was the "bad meat" one (where Dean said "do these tacos taste funny to you?") and the one where Dean falls in the shower.

He talked a bit more about the Trickster, especially about what was shown in Mystery Spot.  He said the Trickster is genuine in what he's saying to Sam, and there is something about the boys that rubs him the wrong way.

Someone asked him if he watches the show.  He replied "let's be honest. I've only seen my episodes. I'm sure it's fantastic."

He talked about how he first got the part in Tall Tales.  He said he was just studying to be a janitor, and nothing about the Trickster mythology.  Then when he found out, he said "Oh, he's a god janitor.  He doesn't die either! Wow!"

Like Gabe, he was asked if Jensen and Jared ever pranked him.  He said they never did, but did share a story from on set.  He said the boys were going to watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. Packers game in Jensen's trailer.  Richard got ready, knocked on the trailer, and heard this growling coming from inside.  He didn't see the guys, but saw two giant dogs instead and they ran for him.  What happened was that he ended up "breaking into Jared's trailer." Heh.

There was a kind of funny moment where a girl in the audience told him he looked like Quentin Tarantino.  He simply replied, "thank you." *g*

Someone asked him what ending would he like to see for the boys.  He said he'd like to see them win.  He wants the show to continue.

Then Gabe came up with a little girl who happened to be his niece (they were about 2 feet in front of me!).  She had a question for Richard about some of the other shows he did (if I remember correctly).  He asked her what shows *she* watches.  She mentioned Law and Order I think, and some shows that were... um... not normally watched by kids her age. At least I don't think so. Heh... Gabe's reaction was so funny.  He just had his hands over his face!  His niece was pretty much ribbing Richard.  It was funny.

After his Q&A panel ended, the autograph session with him and Gabe started.  There was a young guy at the head of the table who was asking people what their names were and writing them down on post-it notes for the stars (and what I thought was pretty cool was that he looked a lot like season 1 Sam ... same hairstyle and was even wearing a Sam-like shirt, hee!).  Gabe gave me a "hi!" and asked if there was anything special I wanted him to write on the photo.  I told him he could write anything.  He ended up writing "Jessica, sorry I'm dead! :("  When he gave me the photo I told him "I'm very sorry you're dead, too!" He gives me this sort of sad face and says, "it's from the heart." LOL! His niece was sitting next to him and she wanted to do autographs too if people wanted them.  I didn't really have anything for her to sign, so I let her sign the back of my Gold Ticket.  She wrote, "you rock!" and then signed her name with "soon to be actress" next to it.  She was cute.

Richard asked me if there was one or two S's in my name before he signed my photo of him.  I thanked him for coming and he said something like "Oh, thank you for coming, I'm having a great time."  The autograph session ended up going very long.  I got mine done pretty early since I was in Row A. Robin was in Row R - it was getting late and neither of us had had dinner, so we decided to head to the sports bar and get something quick.  They gave us quite an interesting dinner specials menu ... all I can say is, see my scan below! And no, sadly I did not partake of any of the specials.  I wasn't overly hungry so I just had a salad and some bread.  There was also an interesting drink menu (again see below), but again sadly we didn't partake of anything.  I was exhausted and hadn't been feeling well that morning, so I wasn't interested in alcohol.

Anyway, enough rambling...   PICTURES!  Again, these are just previews of all I took.  The full collection is HERE.  As before if you want to use these for anything, please feel free.  Just let me know you're taking them and credit me. :)

First let me say how sorry I am for taking forever getting these pics and reports posted.  I honestly didn't think it would take so long to get the pics edited and uploaded... and between that I had holiday obligations and work...  But I suppose better late than never, right? *g*

Here is my report of Jensen's Q&A panel, along with pics...

This isn't going to be in any particular order ... again I couldn't take notes as I was too busy taking pics and laughing.  But here is what I remember.

Like I said in the J2 panel report, he was asked about the rocking out to Eye of the Tiger he did after the broadcast of Yellow Fever and the whole leg guitar bit.  He did demonstrate it for us :D

He was asked what episodes he liked the least.  Someone in the audience threw out "Bugs"! and he echoed it.  He also mentioned In the Beginning from this season, because he spent so much time on it while Jared went to Hawaii for the week, lol

Someone told him about Jason Manns mentioning a BB gun incident that took place between the two of them.  Jensen got up and demonstrated what happened (from what I remembered it involved one of them getting shot in the butt or leg?)... he was hilarious!  Then he mentioned something about getting Jason up there to play some music.  We all said, "as long as you sing along!" Then Jason started walking into the room.  Sadly they didn't do it. :P

He mentioned that sometimes he and Jared go down to Washington (state) to do some target practice at a shooting range.

He also mentioned what car he has.  He drives a Toyota Tundra SUV.  He mentioned his love of chocolate, something about having something dipped in chocolate, with chocolate icing (welcome to the club, Jensen... *g*).  He said his grandmother's chocolate pie is his favorite, and his mom's pumpkin pie is his second favorite.

One of the funniest IMO was that a girl went up to ask a question, and she said to him "this question was for Jared, but ... maybe you could answer it?"  It was about Jared/Sam's hair, LOL.  You could tell Jensen felt a bit awkward, but he was still like, "that's awesome... it's shallow but I'll try to answer it."  The question was something like "Sam's hair was so different in S1, so neat, and then S2 came and what happened?"  He pretty much gave a non-answer, kinda said that sometimes you want a change and he compared it to Michael Rosenbaum having to shave his head everyday for Smallville.  He said, "I used to have hair Jared's length and I don't miss it."  He also added "I think secretly he wants to cut it."  That resulted in a lot of boo's from the audience, lol.  So he quickly added ".. but he won't."  Heh. :D

He told us that supposedly season 4 was going to be the final season of SPN.  Most of us were staring in disbelief.  But he said that Kripke then saw that the ratings for the beginning of the season were excellent and he went, "oh CRAP!" So they might stretch the plot into this season and then finish it up in season 5.  But apparently they were just going to do four seasons so they'd have enough for it to be put into syndication.  Thankfully the ratings are so good that they're going into season 5. (*phew*)

He talked about some behind-the-scenes stuff.  For example the "magic fingers" that we saw in some eps, like Houses of the Holy, was just some guy shaking the bed underneath the set.  He also mentioned the hotel room set for Provenance, the way it looked so wild and made the boys take notice and go, "huh."  He also talked about the gag reel for season 3, about how so much of it was spur-of-the-moment stuff, like in Jus in Bello when Henriksen takes the gun out (when they're in the cell) and Jared just starts screaming and jumping up and down.  Jensen just looked at him and then started doing it as well.

Oh... there was also a girl who asked him if she could have a hug.  I think she'd mentioned that she got one from Jared and wanted to know if he could give her one as well.  He obliged (lucky girl... *g*).

There was also a girl from China who didn't speak much English and she was trying to teach Jensen how to say "I love you" or something like that in Mandarin.  LOL, it was so cute trying to hear him repeat her.

Another cute moment was that a girl from Switzerland (I met her, but for the life of me I can't remember her name... I'm so awful with names... *blush*) had a question.  She said English wasn't her first language, but she said she's learned so many words and expressions thanks to the show, like "cakehole" and "pig in a poke." *g* It was cute the way she said "pig in a poke."  Jensen was all smiley at that and also said it was cute.  He even imitated her saying it in her accent!  She asked if we could teach her more sayings, so people were calling out things to her as well as Jensen and she was saying stuff like "but what does it mean?"  Aw, it was priceless. :)

That's about all I remember, but I enjoyed his Q&A too.  He kept getting thrown off the questions 'cause he was laughing and had to keep stopping and saying "I'm sorry". *g*

I have 135 pics edited and uploaded from the Q&A and you can find them HERE. If you want to use these for anything, feel free, just please let me know you're taking them and credit me. :)

And here are some previews...

(being asked about leg guitar during Eye of the Tiger... *g*)

(and giving us a demonstration! :D)

(aww... laughingJensen!)

Again I'm sorry for taking so long to get these up.  I should have my photo ops and autographs ready to share in the next few days as well, and then the Friday and Saturday panels.

So, after editing and uploading over 250 pics from the J2 panel (phew!), I finally have the next batch of report and pics to share.

Again, the report isn't too detailed as I was too busy taking pics etc to take notes. But here is what I remember the most.

At the end of Jared's panel, I think he'd received a certain question and wasn't sure how to answer, when suddenly Jensen appeared, kind of crawling up onto the stage. Jared looked over by him and proclaimed, "saved by the Jensen!" Hee :D Jensen took one of the chairs and was about to set it down next to Jared when he grabbed Jared's hat and made like he was going to throw it into the audience or something. Jared was reaching out to grab it, almost like he was afraid Jensen would get rid of it, LOL! I had to stop myself from applauding Jensen for doing it (yeah, Jared was cute in the hat but I was still kinda peeved that he wore it for the photo ops! *g*). Jensen gave him the hat back and set his chair down next to Jared.

Someone asked them both if they had action figures for Sam and Dean, what would they want them to do. Jared mentioned his favorite word of the day - "ipecac" (teehee) and held his hand out to mimic Sam exorcising demons. Jensen said his action figure would have poseable arms and would have fried food in his hands for him to eat.

I don't remember too many of the questions in particular, but I know there were a few people coming up to the microphone who would say "I'm a Sam girl, but my mom is a Dean girl", or "I'm a Dean girl but my daughter is a Sam girl." Each of the boys would be encouraging them, like Jared telling the Sam fan who's mom is a Dean girl, "you're going to go far in life" and Jensen telling her "you should listen to your mother." LOL, silly boys. They are just so cute.

They were both asked how they got into acting and what their inspiration was. I can't remember Jared's answer - something about how he got into it when he was in school. Jensen said his dad was his inspiration.

The "Eye of the Tiger" bit that aired after Yellow Fever *was* mentioned, and of course everyone wanted Jensen to do a demonstration of it. He did do the leg-guitar thing for a bit! :D The boys were asked about certain fears I think, and Jensen mentioned something about being in a very small plane (11 seater I think) once and there being a lot of turbulence, that he was fearing for his life. Jared mentioned the time when his car flipped when he was doing Flight of the Phoenix and he thought he was dead.

One of the questions I loved... Jared was asked if there would be a Gilmore Girls movie, because it had been talked about. Right then, Jensen cried "PLEASE!"*g* Jared said that if they did one he'd like to play Dean in it, something about him being the "original Dean."  To which Jensen said, "there's only one Dean." Heh.

There were a lot more questions still left and some people had more for Jared, but Jared was given the signal that his time was up and had to get going.  A lot of people went, "awww."  He got up and went over to sign the Creation banners, and then headed off stage.  But not before he took one of the smaller chairs meant for the audience and put it up there, meant for Jensen I believe as a little jab at how he's shorter than Jared. LOL.

That's about it for that panel.  Next I'll have a report and pics to cover Jensen's Q&A.  Sorry it's taking me so long to post... I didn't realize editing pics would take up so much time!

Like I said, I have over 250 pics of the J&J panel.  They're all HERE.  Again you can take these and use them for art or what have you, just please let me know you're taking them and credit me. :)

Here are some previews:

"Saved by the Jensen!"

Aww, Jared wants his hat back...

This pic is dedicated to all the bonafide J2 fans out there... *g*

Jared demonstrates the Ipecac Sam action figure

Hm.. all I remember from this is that Jared was saying that this can was his "Monster" energy drink.  Jensen I guess is reacting to the name, or the contents (like Jared really needs an energy drink given how full of energy he usually is!).  Whatever it is, his expression is priceless. LOL

More to come soon! Jensen's panel, and then all the Friday and Saturday stuff.

Finally I have the second part of the report ready... with pics.

This covers Jared's Q&A panel.  Again I was too busy snapping pics and laughing to take many notes, LOL. But here is what i remember off the top of my head.  Any spoilers I'll put behind a cut.

Before Jared came out, they showed a music video that was pretty much a recap of the show from season 1 to the end of season 3, with a nice, mostly instrumental soundtrack.  It ended with the second-to-last scene from No Rest for the Wicked (Sam crying over Dean).

Then Jared rolled onto the stage - quite literally!  lol... he bounded onto the stage and tripped, ended up rolling onto it.  We all laughed but he took it in stride.  He commented on how cool the vid was and asked where he could find it.  Everyone told him YouTube and he said he'd have to check it out.

He looked quite cute in his long black coat and black beanie-with-rim hat. *g*

Slight spoiler for episode 4.09 )

He was asked what was one of his fears.  He mentioned something about suddenly being startled out of nowhere, like suddenly woken up in the middle of the night and not knowing what's going on.

He was also asked about Bon Jovi.  Someone brought up that he had worked with Bon Jovi in Cry Wolf and asked if he was a fan.  Jared said he was, that he has most of Bon Jovi's CDs.  He liked working with him in Cry Wolf and at some point ran into him at a bar.  He said the guy was quite laid back and easy going.

He was also asked about working with the Olsen twins in New York Minute.  He acted like he really didn't want to answer the question at first, LOL.  He ended up just saying that they were pretty professional, or at least one of them was (don't remember exactly).  Someone else asked him about The Christmas Cottage and he talked about how he enjoyed working with Peter O'Toole.

Spoilers for Yellow Fever, ep 4x06 )

He also mentioned that he had a cute pic of his dogs sleeping with Jensen in his bed.

He kept scratching his nose with the microphone and then sticking it under his armpits because he knew Jensen had his Q&A next.  Heh. :D

That's about all I can remember.  He was hilarious though.  I really enjoyed his panel.  I've got all the pics edited and uploaded.  You can find them HERE.

And of course, some previews:

Facial Shrug alert!! (if you've seen my Puppy picspams, you'll know what I'm talking about *g*)

He's looking at me!!!! *flails*

Again if you'd like to use any of these for anything, you are free to take them. I only ask that you let me know and credit me. :)

Next up I will have the J2 panel and Jensen's panel.  I can't believe how long it's taking me to edit all these pics, LOL. But I will have them all up by the weekend.

This report isn't going to be in order.  I finished editing and uploading my pics from the breakfast Sunday morning, so I thought I would start with that.

It's not much of a report either because I didn't take notes.  I was too busy taking pics and laughing my arse off to scribble anything down, LOL.  But here are the bits I remember off the top of my head.  The boys did mention a spoiler of sorts, but I'll stick it behind a cut.  Wasn't much but I want to be safe.

First of all...   Alisa and I were at the dessert party the night before.  I'll give more details on that after I get the pics edited and uploaded.  But I was extremely sleep deprived thanks to not having slept much in the previous two days so I didn't stay the whole time.  Everything was delayed due to the autograph session running late, so Jason Manns' concert started at around 10pm (instead of 9 or 9:30 like it was supposed to), and the dessert party started a bit after 11pm instead of 10-ish.  I went up to bed around 12:10am.  Alisa came up soon after.  When I was leaving, there were already people camped out with pillows and blankets/sleeping bags for the breakfast the next morning.

Alisa asked for a 3:30am wake up call.  Yes, we woke up at 3:30 and got downstairs at 4am. For a breakfast that wasn't supposed to start until 8:45am.  The things I do to get a nice view of the boys (no, not thinking dirty thoughts here... *ahem*  *straightens halo*).  I dozed off a few times and ended up curling up on the floor against the wall.  Yeah, I'm sad.  *g*  Bambi joined us a little while later.  They started letting us in around 8:30-8:40.  Alisa and I ended up getting a pretty decent table, though.

They called us up by table to get food and told us the boys would be dropping by around 10am.  When it got around that time, Adam from Creation stalled for time and asked where everyone was from.  Then finally the boys came in.

*fans self*

Jared wore what looked like one of his SamShirts... not sure which one it was, but it looked like one.  His hair was so pretty and flicky (note to SPN hairstylists: let him have his hair this way on the show!!).  Jensen looked quite hot in a button down shirt with pullover sweater as well.

There were two bodyguards with them.  Both looking like tough mafia types.  Seriously, one of them kept looking in my direction as I was snapping my pics.  It unnerved me.   *nervous laugh*

Anyway after they came in, Jared asked how long some of us had been there, if we had been waiting long.  Some people said they'd been there since the crack of dawn and some stayed overnight.  He said something like "the coffee makers of Chicago thank you."  He also asked if anyone had seen the rallies after the election in Grant Park, that he and Jensen saw it on TV, people being rowdy and stuff.  Jensen said something like "I wish we had that kind of turnout."  One or two people said "I'd vote for you, Jensen!" Jared agreed he would vote for him as well and we all clapped.

Both boys were really hilarious.  A few people made comments about Jared sweating, and some girl gave him a couple of ice packs.  He started stuffing them in his pants pockets and then his shirt pockets.

Jensen spoke of Dean's crazy eating habits, basically shaking his head and saying "Oh, Dean, Dean, Dean..." in a weary, disapproving way. *g*

slight late season 3, early season 4 spoilers )

Jared asked if we had any food. We all said we ate already, and he was literally looking around and sniffing the air for food (come on, look me in the eyes and tell me this guy isn't a giant puppy! LOL).  Bambi still had food on her plate, and he appeared to have found it because he pointed straight at her and went "there's something!" She said she wanted to tell him to come over here and get it.

Someone told him about what Samantha Smith said about his dog Harley and the confrontation he had with her little dog.  Apparently he knew about it because he and Jensen had found vids of the previous panels on YouTube before they arrived (heh... oops).  He said something about his dogs being a lot bigger and weighing more than her dog.  Jensen said something like "his dogs are even bigger [or weigh more, can't remember] than me."  Jared said he should bring his dogs to meet all of us, and that they would probably eat all the food here.

That's about all I can remember.  Jared was such a big puppy full of energy, while Jensen was the straight man and kept looking at him with this amused grin on his face.  They were really hilarious.

I thought they were going to drop by the different tables like the guests did the night before at the dessert party, but Adam told them it was time to start photo ops, so they said their goodbyes and left to get ready since Jared's was first.

So that's about it for this part of the report.  I've got all the pics uploaded from the breakfast HERE.

Here are some previews. :)

Again click to enlarge.  There are many more pics at the link above (I've got about 119 up there).  If you want to use these for anything like art, icons, etc., you are welcome to it.  But please let me know if you're taking them and give me credit for the original images.  Thanks. :)

I've got some of the pics from the Friday panels done, need to finish them and move to Saturday's panels.  As soon as I have those done, I'll get started on the Jared, Jensen and J2 panels.

Back to grueling field work tomorrow so I'll be calling it a night.  More over the next few days! :)

I am totally, totally, totally wiped out.  I had a really awesome time at the SPN con.  Great fun, great people, great guests (and a couple of extremely hot guys... cannot forget about them, nope).  But yeah, I am just wiped out.  Got about 2-3 hours of sleep Saturday night :P  I'm still trying to make up for it.

So this post will unfortunately *not* contain a con report or lots of pics.  I've almost used up two memory cards in my camera this weekend. I took just about 1000 pics yesterday alone when the boys were there.  I've also got to scan my autographed pics and photo ops.

But I thought I'd leave you with a little preview...  from the breakfast yesterday morning:

Click to enlarge.  If you want to use this pic for anything, feel free. But please give me credit for it.

I will have more pics to share over the next day or two. Luckily my brand spanking new camera came through for me and I got some pretty nice pics. *pets camera*

But for now I'm going to watch the last episode (which thankfully my DVR recorded on Sat. while I was at the con) and then get some sleep.

Can't wait to share everything with you all. Nighty night. :)

Episode #4x01: Lazarus Rising

Got a big, 90-picture spam this time. :) Obligatory spoiler warning, of course. My caps came out kind of crappy but hopefully they're not too bad. I played with some of the lighting and other options. But if you see anything you like, please take.

Today was a blah day. My dog hasn't been herself much and has been pretty much incontinent the past couple of days. Took her to the vet for some tests.  Could have urinary tract infection but we'll know more soon hopefully.  I guess the weather could be part of it (she has been dragging a little... it's humid again).

Went to Best Buy last night and talked to a salesperson.  For an SLR camera he recommended the not-yet-released Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS. Supposed to be a lighter weight entry level SLR but with pretty much the same features as the XSi.  Live View and all that fancy stuff.  Not sure when it'll be released but the salesguy believes within the next month or two.  As long as I have plenty of time to practice before the con in November.

So I finally have some more Stargate artwork. The Sam/Daniel-thon has inspired me again.  So let's see what we have here...

18 icons, 1 wallpaper (all Sam/Daniel).  None from the two dvd movies, so no spoilers. Some are pretty non-PGish. *g*  Wallpaper uses a nice manip from [info]rightxhereAll are snurchable. Credit not totally necessary, but appreciated.

And the wallpaper:

Not dial-up friendly. As always, see anything you like? Please feel free to take.

That's it for today.  Come back on Friday when we see PsychicFreak!Puppy in #2x05: Simon Said.  Have a great day everyone. :)

(and in case you're wondering, I'm feeling better about the Chicago con. Yeah my seat sucks, but plenty of people will be getting some good pics - and I will get to see the boys up close for the photo ops and autographs. So I'm happy about that. *smiles*)

I've done it...

I booked a flight to Chicago and ordered tickets for the Salute to Supernatural con in Chicago coming up in November.

I got the Silver weekend pass, a photo op with Jared and a photo op with Jensen.  Didn't get the "sandwich" one... I really couldn't decide if I should just get that one and not the individual boys pics at first.  But I really want individual pics, and it's a bit too much for me to get all three, so I settled on individual pics with each of them. *squeees*

I was so worried about money but it turns out I had more put away than I'd thought I had.

So on Nov. 14th I'll be heading out to Chicago with [info]lovetheguys to meet other fellow Supernatural fanatics as well as our boys :D  I can't wait to see who else they're going to add to the con.  The silver ticket gets you autographs from everyone so that'll be fun.  Shame the gold passes are sold out, but I really don't need all the extra stuff like the dessert party, breakfast and concert.

Was talking to my mom and she actually wanted to go, but then said she didn't know what she'd be doing job-wise at that point (she sometimes works weekends during the Fall, so she might not get to take off).  She said she might be game for a SPN con next year though.

I'm so thrilled though, I'm going to meet Sam and Dean!!! er.... Jared and Jensen!

*squeee*

lol, I must sound like a 13 year old :P

Crummy day today... very cloudy, had some thunder and then quite a bit of rain.  Rain stopped but it's still very overcast.

Watched Sarah Jane Adventures and Dr. Who last night...

In other news, it looks like the Supernatural con in Chicago is pretty much a go. :) Haven't ordered tickets yet but am going to look into booking a flight and all that.  *rubs hands together in anticipation*

Just got a reply from my email to Creation.  Gary himself (I've met him at one or two of the Stargate cons) replied in a very polite way, thanking me for my nice note and for supporting the show.  He said they'd love to have a con on the East Coast, but there is the issue of how busy the stars are with both the show and other things like movies, and that it'd be hard to get them transportation back and forth in time for shooting.  He said it's on their "to-do" list for some day, but that's about all he can tell me right now.

So I guess there won't be any SPN cons near New York or anywhere else on the east coast for some time.  :(

Guess I should really, REALLY think about Chicago now.

Glad I'm going to be getting a bit more money soon....

TGIF ... and TGFP (Thank God for Puppies... hee hee)!!

Episode #2x02: Everybody Loves a Clown

Okay, the lighting on some of these is a bit crummy, like the color is washed out, but hopefully it's not too bad. So not dial-up friendly.  As before if you like anything in particular, please take.

And so we say goodbye to Puppy for this week.  And the PuppyMop (except for very limited appearances in the next handful of episodes). *sniffle*  On Monday we'll continue with 2x03 Bloodlust, where we'll see Abducted!Puppy with a new hairdo.  I can't help wondering what was behind this change though.  Has anyone ever done meta (discussion) on Sam's hair, or tried to explain it in a fic? *g*

Oh and on a semi-related note...I am now pondering going to the Chicago con.  I looked on Creation's site and I'd love to get the silver package since the gold ones are sold out.  It'd cost a bundle (with the photo ops of course) but if I start putting money away now, maybe I'll be okay (there are rumors that I'll be getting some more money, including back pay, very soon).  I'm going to think about it this weekend. I emailed Creation and asked if they were ever thinking of having a con near New York, but I'm not counting on it.  Has anyone here ever got the silver tickets for any of the other cons, like the LA one or the last Chicago one? Are the seats okay? They say on the website that they're "great" but they could be just saying that.  It bugs me that they don't let you go up closer to take photos, but I'd hope these are seats from which I could get pretty decent pictures. One of the Stargate cons I went to, I had the preferred tickets and my seat was pretty lousy. Most of my pics didn't come out at all (except for the times when some of the celebs walked to the back of the room).

Okay, now I'll shut up. ;) Hope you all have a nice weekend!
