Save Dr. Elizabeth Weir!!

I can't believe they want to make her a recurring character.  This is ridiculous; as if booting Carson Beckett wasn't bad enough?!!

Please visit suzotchka1 's petition to save Elizabeth Weir from this fate and keep her as a regular next season of SGA:

I'm amazed at all the casting changes they're inflicting on this show.  I really don't want to see it go the same way SG-1 did.  As the show is now, it works fine for me.  I didn't see any reason for them to can Beckett and don't see any reason to make Elizabeth recurring status.

And I REALLY hope that Sam doesn't replace Elizabeth.  As much as I like Sam, she belongs on SG-1 (and I know the show is ending, but still...).  I don't mind if she makes occasional appearances but NO replacing Elizabeth.

... that said... and speaking of petitions, I am thinking of making my own - to see more interaction between Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c in the forthcoming SG-1 movies.  Yes we know Daniel and Vala have this "wonderful chemistry" but please let's not forget about his old friends.  I don't know if it will do any good, as TPTB (or as one GW friend once put it "TPTKTS", heheh) do what they want anyway, but I think it would be nice to at least show them that there actually ARE fans of the "Big 3" left and would not want to see the onscreen friendships abandoned.

Anyone have any thoughts? Advice? Input?
