SPN #11x19 The Chitters (episode review)
Here are my thoughts. I don't have much to say about this one...

I will say it was good to have at least a little break from the whole Amara/Casifer/Angels/Whatever-Else-You-Want-To-Throw-In-There, if you don't count any mentions of them of course...especially as it seems we'll be getting back into that next week.

We see a pair of brothers in 1989, who seem kind of like Sam & Dean in a way, although the oldest one gets killed by something mysterious. It was pretty heartbreaking when the younger one, Jesse, finds the remains of his brother in the lair. You could tell how much his brother meant to him, especially when he goes nuts on the older dude whose daughter had been involved & he hadn't told anyone about it. Meanwhile Dean & the other guy (sorry, I'm terrible with names) are talking about revenge & how it changes people. Dean seems pretty gung-ho about revenge.

So it seems that Sam might have dabbled with dope in college? Maybe it was oregano? Lol, Dean & his teasing...

Interesting how in the end the boys consider having those guys join them in the fight with Amara, but when they actually talk to them, Dean says they're good. I'm guessing that when they told our boys they were getting out of the hunting life, they didn't want to spoil it for them. So I guess they're in this fight alone...or are they? Maybe they will have help in some fashion. I won't say anymore so as not to spoil.

Next week's looks pretty intense, at least from the promo. We'll see, I guess.

The MOTW episodes have been so great this season. Loving all the brother banter and really liked Jesse and Cesar too. It was nice to see REAL hunters for a change instead of teenage wannabe's or Charlie-sue's who think there hunters cause they read a book etc.

Also loved the parallel of Sam and Dean, Jesse and Cesar. XD

Glad Jesse and Cesar both lived and get their happy ending. Fingers crossed that's a parallel for Sam and Dean too!!

When Jesse was talking about his big brother and how he missed him etc and the camera went to Sam, makes me think something is going to happen to Dean in the final.=(

Next week is the ep Jared said was the his fav or the best one they have done in years, can't remember 100% what he said but really excited for it.

I totally agree! Yeah, Jesse and Cesar were very likeable characters and I'm glad they didn't die at the end! Oh I would love for it to be a parallel for Sam and Dean. :)

Oh wow, now that you mention it, I kind of got that feeling too. :( *nervous*

I'm looking forward to the next one too, Jared really talked it up so it sounds like it's going to be very good. I'm looking forward to it!
