SPN #13x14 Good Intentions (episode review)
I don't have a lot to say about this one and I'm kind of doped up on allergy meds so apologies in advance if I get some things mixed up.

I found it kind of predictable that Donatello couldn't be trusted after we saw Evil Colonel Sanders with him some episodes back. I was kind of surprised though how pissed Dean and Sam seemed that Cas got the info from his head and left him brain dead, especially Dean's whole "who are you to decide" thing...I'm not too sure why.

I know they tried to play that whole scene where Dean and Cas meet those two ancient guys to get their hearts for the spell for laughs, especially when the 2 guys were arguing and Dean making fun of their clothing, but I thought it was stupid, almost like they were trying too hard.

I liked seeing Bobby again in the other world, but I'm glad he decided to stay there and not come back to "our" world. The fact that so many characters on this show have been killed and then can easily come back just cheapens the whole thing, IMO. I did think Jack was cute doing the shadow puppets for the kids.

So now they've got the correct spell and a tall order to get the correct ingredients. And it looks like ultimately Sam and Dean and Jack will be working toward the same goal: killing Michael. Although they also included Lucifer and I'm not too sure if Jack will be up for that. I guess time will tell.

That's about it. If you leave a comment, please forgive me in advance if I don't reply promptly. We're supposed to get a bad nor'easter of a storm tomorrow and some Weather Channel nut was already shrieking about hurricane force winds to the east of us, so I'm crossing my fingers and toes that we don't lose power.

Just sitting down to watch this ep now. Stay safe!

ETA: It's really gotten tedious with the find a weapon/tablet/spell thing!

Thanks! Luckily we made it through fine. Got some pouring rain (and even a little snow) and the wind was howling like crazy, but our power stayed on and we had no damage.

I agree! They need to change it up a bit (how, I'm not exactly sure, but they've got to do *some*thing different)!
